# Command Palette

> Quick access to tasks, projects, and actions with Ctrl+K

The Command Palette provides instant access to everything in Claude Board through a single keyboard shortcut.

## Opening

Press `Ctrl+K` (or `Cmd+K` on Mac) from anywhere in the app — even while typing in an input field.

## Features

### Search

Type to fuzzy-search across:

* **Tasks** — by title, task key, or description
* **Projects** — by name or slug
* **Actions** — New Task, Settings, Templates, etc.

### Quick Actions

Available without typing:

* **New Task** (also via `N` key)
* **New Project**
* **Go to Dashboard**
* **Project Settings**
* **Edit CLAUDE.md**
* **Prompt Templates**
* **Workflow Templates**
* **App Settings**

### Task Actions

When a task appears in results, hover to see inline actions:

* **Start** — move backlog task to in\_progress
* **Approve** — approve awaiting\_approval task
* **Logs** — open terminal logs

## Keyboard Navigation

| Key      | Action                |
| -------- | --------------------- |
| `↑` `↓`  | Navigate results      |
| `Enter`  | Execute selected item |
| `Escape` | Close palette         |

## Status Icons

Each task result shows its current status with a color-coded icon matching the board column colors.
